After presenting her final project which furthers hybrid, artificial reef and active coral restoration strategies and local-global community building systems to combat the degradation of tropical coral reef communities in the face of Climate Change, Amaya graduated this fall with a degree in Industrial Design (ESNE 2015-2021 and studied abroad at Pratt Institute during the Spring semester of 2019). She hopes to work in areas of Regenerative Design, Biodesign, Social Design, Experimental and Speculative Design, and Design for Emergency Relief on multidisciplinary projects that help to further our adaptation to and mitigation of the consequences of Climate Change at any scale possible. Across cultures and species.
