Samara’s experience spans manufacturing, fashion, design, and sustainability sectors. Through her work, she has ignited conversations among consumers, businesses, and NGOs around the topic of sustainability and the circular economy.
She started in advertising working at the international advertising agency Wunderman Thompson in Milan and then followed in the manufacturing world working as a corporate and brand communication manager for Aquafil SpA, in Italy and the US. At Aquafil, she was in charge of implementing and communicating the ECONYL® brand of regenerated nylon which, in the last ten years, has become the sustainable material of choice by iconic brands, including Prada, Gucci, Burberry, Adidas, Stella McCartney, Interface, Pottery Barn, Tarkett, Mercedes, and many others.
She now works at Ecoavantis, a Spanish communication agency specialized in visualizing sustainability.
Samara is passionate about sustainability and how to communicate it effectively. She also hosts a YouTube podcast called Sustainability@Work about the topic of sustainability in the business world.
