Yuning recently graduated from Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art (the top-ranked design school in the world) and Imperial College London. With a background in environmental science (first-class honours degree), she has been working in the intersection of biology, ecology and design engineering on projects at various scales and complexity.

Yuning’s work has been exhibited in major events and exhibitions such as Dutch Design Week, Milan Design Week, STARTS Festival, digitalFutures and London Design Biennale. Inspired by ecocentrism and object-oriented ontology, she has been fascinated by the intelligence of living systems and devoted herself to mediating collaboration and symbiosis with nature through biomimicry and biodesign.
